MICROMECANIQUE SA is in a position to supply several types of plug gauges, which differ from one another in their design details.

 

 

It is a great advantage with plug gauges if the extremities of the gauge surfaces can be turned when they become worn, thus allowing unused end of the surface to form the working part.

For a number of years Micromécanique SA has offered a type of reversible plug for small diameters which meets this requirement by having a special method of fixing the plug to the handle. This type has very great advantages for all gauges made of carbide on account of the high material costs.

The gauging surfaces are made of first quality hardened steel having a high resistance to wear, or of tungsten carbide.

Special ageing treatment, combined with very close manufacturing tolerancesm guarantee accurate measurements. The gauging surfaces are of standardised dimensions, but it is also possible to supply special lengths on request. We also supply boxes for storing the plugs.

In the absence of any indications to the contrary, limit plug gauges are supplied in accordance with the ISO system of tolerances.
